Looking for a natural way to restore volume, enhance skin quality, and rejuvenate your appearance?

PRP Gel at HER Aesthetics in Oswego, IL offers powerful, regenerative treatments that work beneath the surface—stimulating collagen, improving texture and tone, and restoring youthful volume using your body’s own growth factors. Whether you're targeting under-eye hollows, skin laxity, or overall facial rejuvenation, PRP Gel delivers results that look and feel like you—refreshed.

Bonus? These similar regenerative techniques are also used in hair restoration to help stimulate fuller, healthier hair growth.

how it works.

PRP and PRFG involve withdrawing a patient's own blood and using a centrifuge to separate the blood components.  The growth factors in the platelets from your blood are then injected, stimulating a cell response which repairs and regenerates new cell growth, helping to improve your complexion, skin texture, and pigmentation.  These same growth factors aid in slowing and reversing the signs of aging.

Platelet-rich fibrin gel (PRP Gel) is also a completely natural gel made from your own blood. It's also created by centrifuging a blood sample to isolate beneficial cells, but it has an added step of cooling and heating the plasma without adding any chemicals.

Heating the plasma, especially the Human Serum Albumin (HSA), changes its properties, causing it to clot into fibrin. This slows the release of growth factors and cytokines, allowing more cells and growth factors to stay alive longer and be released over an extended period in the area where it is administered.

The procedures work especially well to reduce dark circles and fine lines under the eyes. A customized mixture will be chosen especially for you. In addition, PRP with or without exosomes can be used to help promote hair growth in areas of thinning or hair loss.

  • While both harness your body’s natural regenerative abilities, PRP gel has a thicker consistency and enhances volume for even more rejuvenated, radiant results. Like PRP, PRP gel improves collagen production, texture and tone — but you’ll get the added benefits of increased skin integrity, volume and structure, too.

  • Filler uses a hyaluronic acid gel to create volume. PRP gel uses your body’s growth factors to not only create volume, but also to promote long-term collagen production, enhance skin quality, improve the look of fine lines and leave skin radiant.

  • You’ll see volume immediately after treatment, some of which is due to swelling. True results are visible within 4-6 weeks as collagen continues to build.
